Aracely Duran is a Provisional Psychologist and Registered Counsellor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges by providing compassionate, client-centred counselling. Aracely’s approach integrates evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and others, to address a variety of emotional and psychological concerns.
Specialising in trauma-informed care, Aracely works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress. She has extensive experience working with clients who have experienced domestic violence, loss, and childhood trauma, guiding them toward healing and personal empowerment. Additionally, Aracely has a passion for supporting individuals navigating life transitions, including career changes, relationship challenges, and major life events.
Her work is rooted in a strong belief in the power of collaboration and the importance of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Aracely’s empathetic nature and culturally sensitive approach make her a trusted ally for individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is also a skilled supervisor and mentor to emerging counsellors, helping them develop the tools and insights necessary to be effective and compassionate clinicians.
Aracely holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Marital and Family Therapy. She is committed to continuous learning and regularly attends professional development workshops to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices
